About Colin Robertson

Veteran investment industry professional Colin Robertson serves as an executive vice president of Northern Trust Corporation, a Chicago-based financial services company with $900 billion in assets under management and $118 billion in banking assets. He joined the company in 1999 as director of short-term fixed income investments, and by 2003 he had achieved promotion to his present position as managing director of fixed income for Northern Trust Asset Management.

In charge of an international team comprised of nearly 70 staff members, Colin Robertson oversees employees at the headquarters in Chicago as well as personnel at offices in London, England, and Bangalore, India. Besides attending to his managerial responsibilities, he confers regularly with clients and internal partners to discuss issues that impact bond and fixed income investing, such as interest-rate fluctuations in diverse sectors of global markets.

Mr. Robertson possesses a BA in business analysis from Indiana University and an MBA with a dual emphasis in finance and international management from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. Outside of his professional pursuits, he enjoys baseball and soccer, and for several years he gave his time as a coach for local youth baseball teams.
